In-Person Support Group for Female Trauma Survivors & Crystal Bowl Meditation

Are you a woman who is a trauma survivor and are looking for a safe place to talk with a community of women who have been there too? Join our free weekly support group hosted by non-profit organization &Rise where female survivors can talk about our struggles and support each other with support and empathy.

Join us for an evening of connection and reflection as we sit and listen to and support one another. After our sharing session, we will participate in an Expressive Therapy Paper-Shredding Exercise to provide a kinesthetic outlet for energy and emotions to be released and act as a symbolic action for breaking up the past or destroying the negative – so don’t be afraid to really express how you feel! Our evening will conclude with an intentional relaxing and restorative crystal bowl meditation.

Please note: if you aren't ready for in-person support groups yet, AndRise offers free virtual weekly support groups (every Thursday) via Zoom that are 100% private, 100% confidential, and 100% supportive! (This is not a therapy group but a community of female survivors supporting and talking with one another about their experiences and healing.)

We have an amazing group of ladies that are kind and know what you are going through. You do not have to suffer alone or suffer in silence, we are here for you! YOU ARE NOT ALONE!

From Evelyn, our guest Crystal Bowl Meditation Expert:

Hola! I’m Evelyn

I believe harmony and well-being are our human birthright. My own journey with meditation and yoga began in 2016 and since then, I have discovered how transformative these practices can be.

It’s no secret that our internal patterns are intrinsically linked to the cosmic pattern of Earth. And much like the Earth is in a constant dance of balance, so are our bodies and minds. I believe that tapping into these inner patterns and rhythms with loving intention can help individuals build a lasting practice of mental and emotional self-regulation that allows one to return to a state of ease and relaxation where healing can occur.

I began cultivating a daily meditation practice born after many years of mental health struggles, and through this and several other practices, I discovered tools that have played an instrumental role in my well-being. My purpose with sound and meditation offerings is to reduce suffering and to be of service to our collective well-being.

If you would like to learn more about how sound meditation can help you, send me a message. I look forward to connecting with you.
